ICNA repulsed at attempts to link it to violence

NEW YORK, NY (December 5, 2015) – The Islamic Circle of North America is repulsed at attempts by some in the media to link the suspects of the recent attacks in to the organization’s women’s division.

New Muslim Seminar

WhyIslam Ansar presents a one of a kind, first of its kind, long overdue seminar for New Muslims in Southern California. We will address religious, social, spiritual and many other challenges faced by New Muslims after accepting Islam. They have many questions but do not know who to ask. They need help but don’t know where to get it. They feel as if they are alone in their struggle.

ICNA mourns the loss of Dr. Ahmad Sakr

NEW YORK, NY (November 24, 2015) – The Islamic Circle of North America mourns the loss of Dr. Ahmad Sakr, who passed away last night in Southern California. ICNA offers its deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Sakr. May Allah swt Grant him the highest level in Paradise and give patience to his grieving family.Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Dr. Sakr got his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. He was a founding member and president of the Muslim Students’ Association (MSA) as well as a founding member of the World Council of Mosques, Makkah.
