CAMP SEELEY

Camp Seeley is owned and operated by the LA Dept of Recreation and Parks and is located in the San Bernardino Mountains. It is 85 miles from City Hall, nestled in a forest of tall pines, at an elevation of 4,200 feet. The camp is situated on Highway 138, four miles east of Lake Silverwood, and close to Lake Gregory and the Village of Crestline.

The facility includes 65 cabins, a large kitchen and dining hall, rustic lodge, modern restroom/shower facilities, playing fields, game room and children's area.

Rates:
Family of Four: $ 275.00 (Additional Person $ 65.00)
Students: $60.00 (If one registers 5 friends, one gets 50% off)
Individuals: $75.00
Saturday Only: $ 70.00 Per Person (No promise of Cabin Accommodation)
Children below 3: Free

What you need to bring?

Cabins:
Families wanting to stay in a cabin will be considered, provided:
1. The number of people registered in the family is equal to, or more than the capacity of cabin available, and without any claim of refund on excess occupancy.

2. If the number of family members registered is less than the capacity of the available cabin, the difference in cost will have to be paid by the family before allotment.

3. Every member accommodated in a Cabin in excess of its capacity has to pay according to the above rates.

4. There are about Thirty Cabins for allotment on Family basis for those families who register and pay their complete fees early. All others will be sharing the cabin allotted to them with other member of the same gender.

5. The Camp Organizers will make the final decision in case of any dispute regarding allotment of cabins.

Meals:
The organizers of the camp will provide:
Friday: Dinner
Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday: Breakfast

Tea and Coffee will be available at all times.

Good supply of snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase from the authorized vendor stall.

DIRECTIONS:

Be advised that that it gets dark at 4:40 PM, cell phones do not work in or around Camp Seely and it takes twice as long to drive in the mountains. Therefore please take clear directions from the Camp Seely office at (909) 338-2722 well in advance. Also acquaint yourself with the map of the area. Due to the nature of the location, ICNA Camp Organizers cannot be held responsible or be helpful if you have difficulty in finding the location. However, here are some directions to help you:

  1. From Los Angeles: Take Fwy 10 East (San Bernardino Freeway) to Fwy 215 North. Exit Hwy 30 East towards Highland Ave/Mountain Resorts. See number 5 below for further directions.



  2. From Beach cities: Take Fwy 55 North to Fwy 91 East (towards Riverside), to Fwy 215 North. Exit Hwy 30 East towards Highland Ave/Mountain Resorts. See number 5 below for further directions.



  3. From San Francisco: Take Fwy 5 South to Fwy 10 East to Fwy 215 North. Exit Hwy 30 East towards Highland Ave/Mountain Resorts. See number 5 below for further directions.



  4. From San Diego: Take Fwy 15 North (towards Barstow) to Fwy 10 East to 215 North. Exit Hwy 30 East towards Highland Ave/Mountain Resorts. See number 5 below for further directions.



  5. FROM FWY 30 East. Go for about 2 miles. Take Hwy 18 (Waterman Avenue) off ramp and make a left on it. Proceed north for about 14 miles into the mountains. Take Hwy 138 (the Crestline turn-off), go about two miles. Make a sharp right turn at the fork to go to the stop sign in the town of Crestline. Cross Lake Drive, the street immediately after the Stop Sign. Stay on Hwy 138 as it curves down and to the left. Follow the signs to the Valley of Enchantment/Lake Silverwood. You will come across another Fork in the road as you reach Valley of Enchantment. Just stay on Hwy 138 and take the road to the right. Camp Seely is located about ½ miles the road.
