NeighborNets
The concept of NeighborNet is as old as the Islamic Movement. In the days of Prophet Muhammad (s) during the Makkan days, Muslims used to gather at dar al Arqam and learn together, and then apply what they had learned in the society around them. This can also be seen after the Hijrah in the Prophet’s Mosque.

In Islam, learning and doing go together. That is why ICNA has made NeighborNets a forum for learning, working together and brotherhood. NeighborNet is the basic unit of learning, spiritual improvement, and skill development. Ilm, Dawah, and Akhuwwa are its main activities. New persons are always made a part of NeighborNet. These NeighborNets will InshaAllah grow in neighborhoods hence the name: NeighborNet. NeighborNets will continue to grow by splitting into two as a number of 8 regular participants is achieved.

All these NeighborNets meet once a week and they meet together in their Chapter once a month.
